About Arawa Bowling Club
Arawa Bowls club was established in 1951 on land leased from the Rotorua Council. A men’s club was built with two greens and clubhouse, and in 1953 a women’s green and clubhouse were constructed on the back of the property. They were separate clubs until amalgamation in 1998. The club boasts a team of dedicated volunteers who maintain the grounds and clubhouses.
